I just finished reading your book (Talent Code) and enjoyed very much. The book is so powerful that it changed my view on talent (I used to believe Nature rather than Nurture per se :) ). Maybe because of the 'timing' as well, I have recently became a parent and a college professor.
My sister and I are very different in many ways. Now I am wondering about the similarities between us.
Thanks for the great book!

I've been intrigued by the Emmanuel brothers...Rahm, Ari and Zeke. Now that's a family dinner I'd like to sit in on!

I've often wondered about families like this as well including Bill and Bob Bennett, which like the examples above are similar. One example that I struggle to see the similarities in however is David Spade and his brother Andy who is the CEO of Kate Spade.

Daniel
Great distinctions ...
After reading your work for the past few weeks, I'm almost at a point where I might share some throughts.
My partner is a Phd in Genetics & I have a strong leaning toward "Environmental factors" playing a major part in the reason for human results. She has taught me much about the "Cracks" in the genetic link theories!!
Is it possible that a reason for the "More than one very successful sibling family member" might be because of the way the parents/surroundings are "Set up" for learning.
Perhaps in these cases unconsciously an environment is created where people are encouraged to search for the fire/ignition/passion then given the space to deep practice?
Hmmm - Keep up the great work!
