I just wanted to tell you these are wonderful and wonderfully-written posts.  

I especially like your &quot;Slash&quot; posts.  I never would have seen that high school students like Slash are talented in the way of the Bronte sisters.   

I also enjoyed &quot;mailroom clerks.&quot;  Plato&#039;s Noble Lie was based on the &quot;talent is born&quot; theory you are chipping away at. 

Your mailroom clerk theory may never be scientific, but it would be a Nobler Lie.

I wrote to you before about the percentage of Samoan football players in the NFL.  The Talent Code was the easiest read, delightfully so, because I knew about John Wooden.  Swen Nater has a superb blog as well.
