That is sooo cool. That is why Jerry is so good at his craft. It was no accident. Yes, he has talent…for sure. However, would he be as successful, if he didn’t apply that talent so intensively…probably not.

Seinfeld is brilliant in his approach to something which at the outset, seems ‘funny’ – that of crafting jokes. Methodical, obsessive, repetition. Constantly seeking improvement and ENJOYING that process. That is so huge. Not focused on the end result, but the process itself, is so important in long term growth.

I love everything about this. If two years is being spent to craft a joke, how long should I and my fellow teachers work to develop a lesson? I remember seeing a video about a physics professor at MIT that spends 4 hours preparing for every 1 hour of teaching.
